AMPIRmini infusion warming system is used during infusion and transfusion of blood, intravenous therapy for children and adults, the injection of nutrient solutions through a nasal or enteral probes. The complex is used in surgical wards and intensive care units for the prevention and treatment of hypothermia in perioperative periods and its negative aftereffects.
The infusion warming system consists of a control unit with LED display and a control panel with manual and auto modes, along with audible and visual alarms. Additionally, it features a lightweight and compact external heat exchanger compatible with standard IV lines, which can be placed near the injection site, to the forearm or upper arm. The mounting options include secure non-slip attachment to IV stands or rails with a diameter of 15-55 mm.
Blood and infusion warming system consists of:
1) Control unit
- LED display indicates current and set temperatures
- Separate control buttons
- 2 operating modes:
- Manual mode: the temperature can be set between 34°С and 42°С with 0.1°С increments;
- Auto mode: temperature is maintained at 36.6°С - Audible and visual alarms, self-diagnostics at the power-up and during operation
2) External heat exchanger
- Open System. Any standard IV lines can be used, incl. pediatric (optional)
- The heat exchanger can be placed very close to the injection site, providing minimum distance from the heat exchanger to the patient
- Max. flow rate - 2 000 ml/h
- Duralumin heating plate: high thermal conductivity, durability and resistance to mechanical stress
3) Mounting
- Can be mounted on an IV stand or rail with the diameter of 15-55 mm
- Secure non-slip mounting
